The educational requirements for becoming a physical therapist are:
- Qualification training in chemistry, biology, life sciences and basic clinic instructions.
- Physical therapists require a bachelor’s degree with a course in human development and growth, therapy procedures and examination methods.
- All physical therapists need to pass a licensure exam to practice in any state in the United States.
- The assistants on the other hand only need a 2-year associate’s degree in physical therapy. A majority of the states require the assistant to hold a license, certificate or registration. Hence passing the licensure exam is the best option.
Before choosing a physical therapy keep in mind that there is no particular end to the study career. A physical therapist has to continue to develop skills by regularly taking part in educational courses and programs. Attending workshops, getting certified by a clinic specialty and much more
