The pay for a veterinary technician depends on the experience of the candidate. A person who has an experience of close to over five years can expect a salary of 23000$ which could rise to 42000$ with an experience of ten years.

As mentioned earlier, those with a qualification of a bachelor’s degree can expect more money. This could range from 35k-45k. This is much higher when compared to an associate degree qualified who cannot expect more than 37000 $.

 Job prospects

Veterinary technician jobs are expected to be at an all time high till the end of this decade. Those who hold an associate’s degree may face a little more competition as there are more people graduating from that field.

The ones who hold a 4-year degree will enjoy excellent opportunities for the next decade or so as there are hardly more than 500 graduates per year.
